Not to rain on your parade, but I thought Herr Meyer's first name was Artur. And he was secretary while the Captain was president. Herr Meyer ran the club from his home. At least that's what I remember from the many histories I've read and somewhat absorbed. Never mind. Carry on with what looks like a good thread.

i haven't hear much talk about this dog VA Roland Park (fr. vom Golsteintal) 01 Jan 1903, i wonder what those with a well developed eye see in him particualrly compared to the working dogs being bred now
