You had me nervous for a bit. I'm a bit of a nervous Nellie about my dogs. I hate to leave home with out having a dog sitter LOL. The dogs could care less when im gone. I guess they do not know no one will be here to help them if things go wrong,  like a house fire or a broken chain. I guess after so many years some of us know how not to let the dogs know we are scared for them.

The Bitchman

There is no cause for worry unless the bitch is 4 to 5 days late. The bitch can go 65 to 68 days with normal puppies being born. If she is eating normally and there is no off color vaginal discharge, like black, brown, green etc, probably nothing to worry about. Would be a good idea to have the bitch checked by the 67th day.

She was due on Saturday.

The bitch was bred twice for this litter. bred once one day and then again 2 days later.

She has a GSD and freaked when she found out that her current GSD's mom had EPI. She's just freaking out now. Like I said she was already looking at other dogs to get her puppy from and just expecting the worst.

Thanks,

Tiffany

OMG!!!

I just found out that she was going through a false pregnancy...

Gabbie is going to be devistated!

I'm asking about a repeat breeding...

She really wanted one of these puppies.

sorry your friend's fears came true; maybe she can get a pup from the same litter you're getting your pup from best of luck to her finding another pup

The litter I'm looking at is not the same that she's looking at. She was looking for Conformation I'm looking for working and I'm very thrilled about my future puppy! :)

Well you are a little jittery and those are some high drive dogs ,not for the faint of heart.  Maybe not good for a beginner, I suggest you find a trainer as soon as you get your pup.Not a pet co or pet smart one but a real trainer.Sorry to hear it was a false pregnancy ,it's not the end of the world .Could  just be a new search is on .
