A $1,000 may be cheap, I'd need more details.  The pedigree is very good, excellent working dogs in the pedigree.

I'd buy it for $1000, if he doesn't work out $1000 isn't too much for a nicely bred pet.

The dog is not quite 18 months old (by my math, which is always questionable).   WHERE THE HELL IS HE???   I want to see him, or have someone whose opinion I trust see him work and evaluate his temperament, because I may want to breed to him, once he is older and titled/surveyed.  WHO OWNS HIM???  Contact info????

15 months now.  He has some hard dogs in his pedigree.  Yoschy was known for producing some dogs with handler aggression and so has Amigo.  I really like his pedigree, let's have some more info on why this dog is for sale?

I liked him too.  That's part of the reason I think smith needs to make sure of what he's (or she's) looking for.  This could maybe be too much dog for somebody that is new to working GSD's.

Jim,

I, too, wonder why he is for sale...and at puppy prices!!   What's wrong with him, that he is sold for only $1500,when, presumably, he has had some training of some type by now, perhaps pre-limed or A stamped hips, his teeth should all be visible, nuts down.    WHY is he for sale...at that price?

Whoa nelly.... "a package deal with 4 other good dogs" that is a little scary.....
I have an Eick daoughter I have been training since 9 weeks old- She keeps me on my toes, all day everyday.  You will have some shit to sift through if he has really not had any training.... If you are good at that and or have a great trainer to work with you'll be alright.

Before you buy please ask about the hips ????
Don't buy without a prelimnary X ray.
If the dog is coming from germany be very careful, by  14 month the dog has either an a-stamp or did not pass.

Good Luck :)
