When pups are born, register the litter, then take each pup color code with collar, yarn or something,
try not to mix them up,
DNA each pup and send the DNA envelope in as an individually registered dog,
writing in one of the stud dogs names as the sire,
when DNA sees that some pups don't match, than those are the pups of your other sire,
just ask DNA people to match it to the other stud, the multi-sire paperwork seems a waste of money,
just do their DNA separately.
DNA is DNA
I DNA'ed a litter like that, not a multi-sired but just to see how easy, and it did not require anything but marking
the pups with yarn, they are too young at 1 day old for micro-chip or tattoo, I called & asked the people in the DNA dept.
she said they didn't need permanent identification....Just a AKC Reg. name.....

Here's one, I did all six, he was the only black & red, all the others were sable, I thought it would be a good way to keep track of the pups, but it still doesn't mean the people are going to send me an update on their pup, so for now, I'm just
going to DNA all my dogs that are used to breed, male or female.
They named him "Diego" and he lives in CT. That's another thing, get ready to name everybody!
