Coyotes are much better looking than my dog. Luckily, I do not care how a dog looks, just how he works.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't care about a dogs looks but not enough to put it first. Thankfully there are enough dogs around I can skip the ugly ones and easily find a nice looking one.

Abhay, tell me about your dog and what you did r didn't like about her.

Moons, post a ped.

Hi 4pack,

Noticed your avitar this morning while enjoying my morning coffee, LMAO!!!!!

I train with a dog named Buck Vom Grim Orkie, he belongs to Brandon the guy I go to on Sunday mornings,

that's when I bring Tessie, she's a real animal, but has great working potental, and is the only dog of mine that

actually looks me in the eye while heeling and staying!

Buck is exceptional in his stable temperament, very well mannered dog, always looking at his owner for the next

command, he'll be titled soon, no problem.

He has Troll Vom Haus Milinda in his pedigree, so that dog gets my vote!

For my likes Berlin was perfect. For others, she probably wouldn't have been their cup of tea. My wife was in the Pikes Peak Schutzhund Club and brought Berlin to a practice at 7wks old. My wife was all but embarrassed. Berlin was trying to attack and actually take hold of every dog and pup there.
Her dog aggression became worse as she matured. Her father, "Ben" had quite a name with the Maineiche fanciers. Kim, in D.C. was entranced by this big dog handled and owned by Thomas E. Allen of W. Virginia. There was an outing issue with Ben, and Berlin inherited the trait.

When Berlin went into fight drive, her eyes would cloud over and it was all but impossible to bring her down. Now most will probably say who would want her, but it made me love her all the more.

We bred her to a very stable, intelligent male, who was a grandson of Cello on the top and a working bottom of Busecker Schloss. The offspring who are now 5yrs old, are exactly like their dam.

I have to say that while Berlin was still a baby, we moved to a very secluded area, 4hrs away from any Sch Club.  Had Berlin been exposed to constant training and obedience, perhaps she could have been toned down enough to achieve a Sch degree? Who knows. If you like fire and intensity off the charts, then Berlin was your girl.

Interesting, so does anyone know if dog aggresion runs in that line? My boy is "very" neutral with other dogs. Thankfully when lose dogs approach us, I can make him sit so I can deal with the other dog. He has actually been slammed into and bit a few times and never gone after the other dog. I think in the case of the ankle biters he is smiling on the inside, the Catahoula that came at him was a spayed female, his size or close enough to it. That one I was a bit worried about but with a sharp command form me, he freezes up and lets me do the talking so to speak. It's something I have always been on top of him about, knowing he would be a rather large dog and an intact male, I don't want problems with future dogs I may purchase or ones we encounter on walks.
