These are crappy pics of Ember but look:

There's no reason a long coat can't compete in Schutzhund. That's what our girl will do!
She's a woolly booger too!
They look very much alike.

Yes, your Pup looks much like young Heidi how old is she in the photo, and Yesm being a Long Coat will not stop them working, least wise going by the way young Goran goes at it, I have never seen a young Dog take to the jumping of an A Frame and the M jump so well, He skips over then comes back Point to it and he does it again then looks to go again, and his obedinance is outstanding, Just a bit to go on Protection
Next month his BH, three weeks later his AD, then possibly June his ScHh1

She has the determination by carrying a cola can all the way to kennel and droping it in HER place...that is number one check mark in her hold favor..
The noise that plastic is making and her not even one thought of what she is carrying but that it is hers and she has full possession of it is number two.
She may not be a coat. she may be a full coat and that is not a fault. and has nothing to do with working.

I was thinking that myself, She certainly does not have the coat young Goran had, Yes, i think she will be a full coat
Last night i took her to the training club for the second time, Once again it was nearly too bad to work but we did a little bit, but it was not good ground and the frost was on the field white by eight oclock in the evening
We finished and i took her into the clubhouse one tall fellow named Dirk was making a fuss of her then he went woof woof to Heidi, she replied, Woof Woof.
It was funny and we all had a good laugh, now Dirk is named as special dog trainer
Later on a guy bought her nest brother in and we let them play. after a while the male Pup started getting verbal, Heidi pinned him down and was giving him a good roughing up, she had the better of him
The Cola can she was crushing in her mouth as she walked it was cracking away but she took no notice of it at all,
Yes, i think i have a real little madam on my hands, That is great

The three dogs in the foreground started out with baby chick fuzz. Their adult fur came in at 6 months.
The male in the center carried the gene for long coat.
