I knew Heidi Hatfield(Vom Baerenzwinger) very well. She ran a very popular Kennel in the Black Forrest, east of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Heidi always seemed to have a knack of putting out PP dogs. In the 80's and 90's there were some outstanding dogs in Southern Colorado from her Kennel. I remember a Black she had bred down from Finchum's Charley Pride that was off the hook. She also bred another Solid Black down from Covy -Tucker Hill's Manhattan that was around the Black Forrest area in the early 90's.
I also remember some blood down from "Marko Von der Lotosburg".
In the mid 90's Heidi's main Stud was "Fanto Vom Tankgraben". "Fanto" was a son of "Cello", and the ultimate Manstopper. I can testify to that. I purchased this son of "Fanto" from Heidi.

It is driving me nuts! I can only think that it is one person putting up all these pedigrees today, because the one thing they have in common is the German dogs that you hit 3-4 generations back, behind clearly AKC champions. Some of the pedigrees, if you keep clicking on ancestors, goes back to the 20s!!
Is there ANY way to determine who the poster is and how to contact them? This person is a waling gold mine!

I have a DDR/American line girl http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/541914.html the American side is mixture of working and show, but most are ranch dogs. I did the two you saw and many more...I would have to go back through and see how many I did. I had been planning on filling in the gaps I missed on her ped for awhile, but just finally gotten around to it. I had to put in most of the dogs on her moms side..some which surprised me because of the kennels. I put in many Valiantdale, Lugierland, Yoncalla, vom haus Krüger and Kovayas dogs. I have been doing alot of research using OFA and other pedigree sites matching numbers for hours, but I love it and it keeps me occupied
