[agrees with Yellow Rose] The trolls are driving good people away from the site. Believe me, I've been there! A work-related site I visit was having a terrible time, until they appointed moderators. We cleaned up the board... AND IT IS NOW THE LARGEST SITE OF ITS KIND ON THE NET!! The PDB can only benefit from moderation. I know some of you are voting 'no' because you are afraid all OT posts will have to go. That ain't the case! We can still have fun, and enjoy silly stuff. Heck, it will be even MORE fun without the trolls! This site DOES have a TOS, but it's not being enforced. Give it a read, it's not all that complicated, or strict...

I vote YES to moderation. Now who wants to volunteer? I can think of a few people I would ban in a heartbeat.

I'm guessing those who want moderation are afraid to speak up. It's ok to have an opinion around here, but only if it agrees with those who think they own this place.

Also, a privately owned internet forum is NOT a democracy. Just ask Oli.

I'm still laughing because ol' Steve is butthurt about a website bashing his name, when he has one to bash others. I guess what comes around, really does go around. Now all of a sudden we need an admin? Screw that, take your lumps like everyone else.

I'm a moderator on two other forums.  Very few posts get edited or deleted.  Most times things diffuse quickly and people get on with what's important and related to the forums.  Being a moderator here would be interesting to say the least.   

Mebbe so, but SL could also be an old man needing some compassion. Does he deserve it? Who's to judge? You, me? Seems to me he's in a pretty humble state, one wouldn't want to seem a bully when it all comes full circle. And by the way, I totally believe in KARMA. Just don't like to rub salt in the wound or see it being done.

I really don't care who Steve bashes on his own site. It doesn't belong here. I would have deleted the whole mess and banned his stalkers. Steve has made positive contibutions to this board since I've been here. Can't say the same for his stalkers. They are only here to cause trouble. I've been moderating my own forum for close to 15 years and would never put up with that kind of crap.

Sorry I don't agree. How many times has he posted the link to his own website and made threads specificly to bash Frawley? I'm no fan of him either but it's spreading the hate and not needed here either.
