Very nice pup Jyl :-) I would also like to see her pedigree if we can?

Well a little late but I would have said DDR/Working. She looks a little like my Yette when she was little. Nice bone, maybe a little straight in the shoulder, back a bit long. But all around she is really pretty. Love those DDR heads.

Jyl, Kelly, Yellow,

Her pedigree is http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/481402.html

She is from DDR lines and is now 2 yrs 5 mo.

I noticed Jyl hadnt responded yet,  I am very proud of the type this litter was.  I wished some of were a bit stronger, but that is what you sometimes get with the DDR lines.  They usually catch up, but it take them a while longer.

She is beautiful Jyl..

WOW Kim, it never crossed my mind that was Brix, DUH!!!!  I thought she maybe had gotten a new pup. She is a beautiful girl with very nice lines :-)

I will agree that it is a crap shot  with the DDR litter's, or all litter's for that matter. Sometimes they come out strong and other's times not so much. You did however have a gorgeous litter :-)

Kim and Jyl,

That was a really fun game of "who is that puppy".

I have never owned a sable, but I marvel at the incredible color changes that they go through.  I think you really have to know your sables to see where they end up colorwise when they are mature.

It would be a really fun thread for some of the sable owners to show the rest of us what they looked like as baby puppies and how they end up as adults.  They go through so many color changes.

There could even be a match that puppy picture to the adult picture game.  Show one puppy picture and several adults and the game is to pick out the right adult.

michele,

I know there is a post somewhere on here were a bunch of us showed our baby pictures then adult pictures.  I will look for it.

I also have some puppy pictures on my website, and pictures at 6 months old.  You can really see the similarities and also the changes.

Trailrider,

I owned your girls 1/2 sister, who was the dam to the puppy above.  She was also sired by Alk.  Her name was Just Jaycee Vom True Haus.

She produced some wonderful pups for me.  My avatar is Rookie, Just Fagen Von Kistha Haus,  also her son.
