Very cool.  This is a great way to promote the sport. 

Hmmm, as for weather which I certainly think might be an issue in March where it will be held, perhaps an indoor venue will be used for part? I too think it is an interesting event, and more power to him if Mr. Rojas can pull it off successfully so he does not loose his shirt. Will it make a real difference in the sport? Probably not, but it will be fun for those who want to participate or spectate. If it were possible,. I would certainly want to go watch, depending on entry fee.

Weather in March?  Well (LOL) I bet it won't be 100 degrees F like it was at the Masters last year!  At least in March we can bundle up if it's cold.

Anyone know why the change from June to March?

Because there are no championships in March next year.  In June, we are planning to have the 2009 Masters.
