Thanks again for the info. I have backed trailers a quite a bit, but a 3 horse slant.... I have backed our snowmobile trailer also a car trailer, I just go slower because I have to use the mirrors and I am better if its tall and I can see the sucker. Full agree of the duct tape sunsilver, that and baling twine. LOL! I haven't heard back from my prospective seller... I have checked ebay too, but I haven't seen one very close at all. There is a 2000 going for $5400.00 on craigslist right now that is very close but I won't spend close to that much.
Traveltime, I like your out look, more positive. I guess its cuz I want one! LOL!
snaiper69 my husband would be with you on just a tent. But I think a pop up would be easier to keep clean. I have done the tent thing in my younger days and there is always alot of dirt tracked in to the thing, plus usually if it rains the get wet from stuff touching the sides. Now a tipi is different, we lived in a tipi for a few years at one point! Not thru the winter though. But they aren't easy to transport with the poles and the set up/down time is most likely longer than a pop up.

sniper, LOL! I noticed one of my females was susupicious of black people, too, until she got to know them!
When you get to my age, you really value the comfort of a bed up off the floor, sniper. I am now on the wrong side of 50 and I am getting arthritis in my hips and wrists, which means getting up from a prone position isn't easy anymore. I think my tenting days are over, unless i decide to do an overnight canoe trip.

Sunsilver I agree, it is nice to not crawl out of you bag, to freezing ass cold too. I went horse camping this year in August, I slept in my pick up topper. Crap it was cold in August, I mean see your breath cold! It warmed up by noon. I don't have arthritis, thank God, but I have a been there done that mentality. If I have to, you bet, I could rough it with the best of them, but crap, I am out to have fun!
Venzosmom, whats room service and maids?
Ulli, cool, but not what I have in mind! I don't want to crash in a dog box, heck a tent trailer isn't to far above it though!

Trailrider,
I should have explained more......... click on the link, then click on "thermico" in the upper left corner, then on dogcamper on the far right top........
Didn't want to see you crash in a dogtrailer, but this dogcamper is really cool. I have seen it a couple of times, and if I would have the space to park that thing ......... I would have to have a discussion with my boss, the wife !!

Awe! Now I see what you meant. Not bad looking, don't think I have seen one over here before. I probably could not afford it though....
