Do a google search on Jean Dodd and scroll down to the last article by Jean Dodd which was dated Oct 7 2008. Then form your own opinion. This was the latest update she has on vaccinations.

The only problem is that every boarding kennel, doggie day care, obedience school etc. wants proof that your dog has been vaccinated on a yearly basic. How do we get around that?

When I took Georgia in for her rabies this summer the vet said they were moving toward every three years on the other shots as well. When then print out her records for me it lists the date of last vaccination and whether or not it's current.
Several years ago we had a lab mix that had a horrible seizure on the way out of the vet clinic after his shots. He was never quite the same after that. There are also a lot of parents that are spreading out their children's vaccinations because they are so overloaded with shots. There has to be a middle ground where people and animals are protected from disease but they aren't harmed by the vaccines.
