Badgsd--
Thank you for your concern. I was being facetious. I'm ridiculously secure in my existance, and would never shoot myself. It was strictly hyperbole.

Hey, not cynical, I just happen to think that our real war-dogs and real soldiers do a fantastic job and are indeed heroes and there's no need to make stuff up. (not saying Hailey made this up).
I'd sure like to know that hand-signal for "go away but come back and find me." LOL!

I had this e-mailed to me a while back also.
FYI: That mix would, in no way, produce a 200lb dog. Bull Mastiff's top out at about 130lbs and Boxers at about 75lbs.
FYI(2): Dogs are not eligible for Medals of Honor
Many years ago (I believe WWII) an officer saw that a dog had received a medal for bravery and thought that it would be demeaning to human soldiers who had received medals. He made a big enough stink about it that the military decided that only humans could receive medals. It remains that way to the present day.

FYI, coincidentally I just now saw this same photograph on a Ray Allen magazine ad.

Nice story about the dog in Irag but it is another of those internet hoaxes; it has been going around for a while.
