i had my boy on RC 24, switched to EP Holistic. he did well on the RC, but required less EP, had smaller stools and did at least a "bit" better as far as energy/coat w/EP. he was consistently supplemented with both salmon oil/vit E on both. i am an EP fan--bang for your buck!

THere are better kibbles on the market than the two above, Look at EP starts off with chicken meal then listsGrain substances and Beet PUlp they grow a huge amout of beet over here in Belgium it is a filler Plus Chicken Fat i avoid that

so what do you really have only the chicken meal

RC is just as bad

Look at the rating of these kibbles in many places not 6 5 4 3 star but two star, kibbles, i will not touch any commercial kibble sold on the shelves of pet stores etc you gets what you pays for and even higher in the long run

You folks in the USA have a lot more choice than we do when it comes to the kibbles that do not contain grains and the best of those containing grains but less off, so you are .lucky people

i can get Orijen, Solid Gold products and Timberwolf, but these are by mail order,

i use Orijen never a moments problem and if anyone has concerns as to its protein level they need have none, some 14 to 15 months feeding a dog on it and he is a picture of health plus one can always mix it say with a SOlid Gold Kibble and cut the protein content down and get still get the benifit of not feeding too many grains and beet pulp etc to the Dog but everyones own choice

i can get Roral Canin off the shelve, but will not buy it

Steve
