Not even ten minutes ago I was yelling at Sasha to knock this kind of crap off!
She is going to be 5 next month...ooh at the end of this month...anyhow she has always raised her leg to pee, but this morning I watched her go out and pee, and then after the pups went out, she went and super hiked her leg and marked right over the top of the boys pee! Some girls just wanns be sure they are the boss! and she has been spayed now for a month!

Yes mine do that too, but only at specific spots, not all over and not every few mniute's. I have one bitch who did this in the house and she had been rescued from a kennel.
I'm just saying a dog who has never been free doesn't know at first what to do with it. Takes some adjustment time.
My bitch's don't hike a leg but I don't see that as abnormal that one does. But all mine male and female mark certain spot's on the property routinely. The spots are not the same tho.. male's and female's have different spots in an area.
Anyway the why isn't has important as the changing this behavior in the house.
The dog can be taught not to do this indoor's.

My alpha bitch lifts her leg a bit to mark, not like my male. but she positions herself like a boy

If you have an alpha female of a litter..she needs great caring for.She will need more than the usual female. If she is marking..she needs more activity..exposure.especially if she is hiking her leg. When I say exposure...I mean to just take her out whether an adult or a pup to some back woods areas lead or no lead just so can she can sense her tracking abilitites and so much more! Let her have fun with whats in her...as an Alpha.Take out on a twenty foot lead..say nothing just watch.
