Don, you are too funny.  I have a sticky keyboard from spilling too much coffee on it and am too cheap to replace it. So I try to clean it up every week or so.

After W you would think a person would want the candidates to have an iq test.

The repubs have all been conned by zapata drug cartel since boosch #1.  When regoon found out about the drug dealing by zapata et all, he started to drop the hammer.  Soon after he was shot in a coup de etat from boosch.  They let him live but he had to agree to back off and let boosch run things. Remember, boosch was head of the cia and involved in the JFK hit.  Traditionally there has not been much difference between the dems and repubs.  Dems emphasized labor, repubs emphasized commerce and business. Sad truth is that it was the intel agencies and drugs that corrupted the beltway and it was through drugs and arms industry that the shadow gov't took over.  Pres. Eisenhower warned about this in his last speech where he warned about the possibility of the military/industrial(defense) complex takeover.  An ex DEA official has stated that if all illegal drug sales were cut off, every major bank would be in serious trouble over night due to the money laundering they do.  Do you think it has been a cooincidence that the biggest fed res bank deposits have been in florida for many years?  This is all old news and has been proven and substantiated many times over.  It is old fashioned coruption that has ruined congress and caused them to sell out and represent the special ineterests that feed them money, and/or blackmail them.

An IQ test does seem like a minimum requirement, Liberalandy .

I don't see the same thing in Obama Marlene sees. McCain's McBush facial expressions - you know what I'm talking about, the sad old bassett look - and his arrogant, pompous attitude causes me a lot more concern.

haven't see that one before Liberalandy. Very funny!!  If an expert on body language labeled Obama an introvert because he looks down at the floor when thinking, do you suppose McCain's body "language" would suggest he is a pervert?

The IQ test would empty both parties   Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi would be the first on the bus...I am not a voter who goes straight party and maybe have aliitle more insight that way I do research on the person and what their merits are ...I hate Bush he is a idiot...but anyone voting for Obama I just cant get on board it is the popular thing people just go wild  for this empty suit guy I cant see anything in this guy at all he comes up empty at every angle.. but I do see he sleeps with dogs Wright  Ayres, Franklin Rains. so what is the old saying if you sleep with dogs you end up with fleas...(not so in my house) as far as Palin know she is not a polsihed person in politics for me that is a plus the futher you can get from those  washington idiots the better you will be..she has not been tainted yet.... Yhey all took money from Freddie and Fannie on both sides but Dodds and Obama and Biden were the top three keep that in mind! Fannie and Freddie is why you will be paying a average of 10,000 a piece as tax payors that would almost buy me another female for breeding does not set well with me...I wish fraud charges would be persued in both Fannie and Freddie but I bet if Obama gets in that will be a wash he has half the Fannie and Freddie on his staff now

Sad old basset look Blitz?  Did you see Biden last night?  He looked like a whipped mutt.  IMO Palin kicked his old guard butt all over the stage.  I would vote for her over either over McCain OR Obama bin Biden any day!

by Blitzen on 03 October 2008 - 13:10

IMO Palin was very well coached and reminded me of a Stepford Wife. IMO she really had little of substance to add to the campaign and didn't give any response to anything other than what she had on her cheat sheets.  Her coaches should be congratulated for making her look as if she she might actually get it now.  In fact her entire debate seemed so canned that I was wondering if she or her staff was informed of the questions in the days preceeding the debate. When asked about anything else, she spun the subject around to her benefit. Very clever, just what we need, another politician who can expertly divert attention from the real issues. In that respect I thought she out-did Biden  but he seemed to me to be a lot more sincere and unscripted in his presentation.

Frankly, I was not impressed with her mugging to the camera and her cutsy behavior like winking at her father when talking about his being in the audience.  In fact I found it to be very unprofessional and condenscending. Just the sort of behavior that demeans women in all walks of life and supports my thinking of her as  the anti-women woman. Ferraro never behaved that way during her debate.  Palin depends way too  much on her looks.

I thought Biden was much more spontaneous and certainly more experienced in all areas of discussion. I didn't see the whipped mutt look at all.  I saw the frustration of his realizing she was using her looks and homespun humor to win over the males in the audience rather than addressing the issues head on. At that point he had to know he was bested and the debate was not really about the future of the country, it was about mugging to the camera and offering nothing substantial in the way of plans for the future.

I saw nothing that would even encourage me to vote for Palin for dog catcher. She'd be winking  and mugging to the camera while pushing the plunger. She would make a great news reporter for FOX, President of the US? No way!!!

Proud Poppa

Are you kidding me?  She was so nervous at the beginning that she sounded like the Micro machines guy.  She Barely answered a question directly and her answers did not pertain to the question.  Half the time I was confused because she wanted to talk about Energy when the question was about diplomacy.  She was continuously looking at and talking to Biden, while he was clearly addressing the nation.   Not once have I heard what they are going to do to change.  "Change" is all I hear, without anything to back that up.    I thought she blew it on foreign and domestic policies.

I have no idea who I am voting for, but I am damn scared that McCane will croke while in office and we are going to be left with a sub-standard leader that was chosen to pick up a few lingering female votes.    I have nothing against a woman running this country, but clearly she is not my choice to do so.
