I sold my "runt" who was a female to one of my neighbor's as a companion dog, I saw her just last week and she is almost as big as my biggest male pup I kept for myself out of the same litter. LOL  So see, it just goes to show you that the runt doesn't always turn out to be the runt.

The 20 mo old male I have out of a litter my Agar sired was on the average size to his litter mates.  I was initially going back n forth on which male I wanted and kinda was leaning towards his brother who was the biggest; the breeder called him "Moose" because he was so much bigger than the others....anyways my TD talked me into the smaller male and assured me to trust him that that dog would have much more drive and workability for the type of dog I wanted.  I'm glad I listend to him because although my dog isn't as big and masculine looking of a dog like his dad his size tends to fool people. LOL  He's very tough, hits hard, bites full and calm, has a lot of fight drive in em and he is the fastest little bugger...lol  My TD saw the littermate not too long ago and he told me "Moose" wasn't any bigger than my boy.  So I felt even better after that with my choice.

When it comes to dogs....size doesn't matter!
