This is a method used for a dogs that are picky eaters or that simply are not intrested in food. You wouldn't use it on a dog that loves to eat, or is not food picky. So no problems with bloat. This is to teach a dog that he will eat what you serve him when you serve him and if he dose not want to than he needs to wait till next feeding time. No matter what.

BTW never had a bloat.

Try 1 tablespoon of Solid Gold Green Tripe canned food. Mix with a bit of warm water in the kibble. Works great for picky eaters.

My girl is 18 months. tried canned food mixed and also raw liver. did not work out, tried raw chicken with rice, did not work too. I think she is toiling with my heart so I am just going to make half her food today, if she finishes in time, then good for her, otherwise bad luck until tomorrow.

Yogurt will work, but try Taste of the Wild dog food.  My very, very picky girl goes crazy for it.

I normally feed her in the morning and then in the evening. Today i tried a new method, it was more difficult for than for her. I skipped her morning meal and although i wanted to feed her at 2, i happened to feed her at noon because it was too tough on me.

She actually ate quite well. Must try push back more and more so she ends up with 1 meal a day around 2 pm.

If there is no medical reason then Dogs who are picky eaters should be cut back and miss a meal or two

I never tempt Dogs or any Bird or animal to eat if there is nothing wrong with there heaslth. Most Dogs refuse to eat because the owners give way to them and feed them titbits if they do not eat thats a big mistake

My sister has two siamese Cats, they play her up something awful and she gives was and buys them expensive meats etc and fish

When she comes over to Belgium to vist us Her husband feeds the Cats

Never once has he ever had any trouble they eat right away what he gives them because at the very start if they played up eating he took it away, so never gets that problem

Harden youyr heart and remove the food if the dog plays up and do not give it any extra the next meal should it eat it

The same apllies to the Racing pigeons i feed them in there next box in a pot if one pigen picks up one grain and drops it or picks among the grains it is removed he or she misses out

Nothing including humans should mess about with food

Steve
