She's bringing me some   tomaten salud spices so save some ripe tomatoes, onions and bell pepper for a real treat.

Silbersee

Good Morning guys,

no, I am not in Germany yet. I am leaving on Tuesday. Yesterday was a nasty day here (tropical storm Hannah), and we were gone from early morning til late night. Had to pick up a dog from the airport, picked up Vila from Dog 1's house (she was bred to VA-Ronaldo vom Zellergrund and stayed with Randy and her sister Vella for a week) and had to put a car in the shop, in addition to my last minute shopping list.

Mahon, I should be home today (until late afternoon), if you want to talk. I need to pack and do laundry.

I could not resist and put this photo up, when you mentioned that chances that Gina will reproduce herself are slim. Look at her daughter Venya vom Haus Dexel, photo taken at 8 months - spitting image of her mother. She is darker than it appears, just look at the light green grass. Venya is from Gina's first litter and will be a year old in November. She is no coincidence and has nice littermates in India, Netherlands, Italy and Germany. Venya and a brother are owned by her breeder in Germany. Sire is V-1 Mexx von Aurelius. Gina's second litter will be due now almost exactly a year later in November out of V-1 Nick vom Holtkaemper Hof. That litter will be a Silbersee breeding and whelped here in the U.S.. To me, Gina is turning out to be a producer just like her mother and grandmother. When looking for a foundation, the motherline is all important. I wish I could keep all my females, especially the ones out of my kennel, but it is not possible and fair to them and my family. Better to stay small and do them all justice.

Chris

P.S. Edited to provide link to Venya's pedigree (it is actually her sister Vany's, because Venya is not registered here yet - I believe Vany is in the Netherlands): www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/538321.html

Chris, Your Gina did a fine job. Not many females will reproduce them self, but a few can. I am going to meet Randy on saturday in Tennesee. To pick up Vella. Have a safe trip. Have fun and take pics of the best males you see. Thanks again, Martin
