I think with some of the ones that are rescues and with what they have been thru, they are old souls and they have the ability to own you as no other dog ever could, I have a male rott at home, he is a clown and I would put him in the old soul catagory even thou he has had a chushy life, he has pulled my behind out of the fire a few times. I have a new pup, GSD, I am very excited about his personality. I also have a LC gsd at home, who never grew up, I call her my" little girl," first sign of trouble and she is behind me, peeking around me to see how the rott is handling things. Make sure and let us know if you "rescue" Julie.

Wow! Do you just have three dogs? Sadie is like your "little girl" always in trouble or finding some dirty water hole to play in. Every day it looks like she needs a bath, but I have recently decided not to. She is just going to do it again tomorrow. We have a creek in the backyard and side yard that she is always in, but she never smells bad. The creek smells horrible though. Sadie is defiantly a water dog.

I will make sure to tell you if I rescue Julie.

I found out today that Julie is not very good with other female dogs, so sadly this will not be a home for her. =( tears! I really wanted her, but my real baby, Sadie, comes first. I also found out that Julie has to have meds for allergies and the special food for her tummy. Her tummy doesn't agree with her all the time. I will still be watching her at the Humane Society and was asked to bring her out of her shell, so I am off to do research.

RockyMud, where is this GSD located? Also, do you have any additional photos of her? She looks precious! : )

I think it was wonderful for you to even consider fostering a dog! It is the most rewarding thing you can do....

Julie is located in Burton, MI, USA. I do not have any other pictures of her. That picture was from the Humane Society web site. When I go in tomorrow, I will try and get some really good ones of her.  USimports, Julie is amazing once she comes out of her shell. She will give kisses and is extremely smart. I really wish she was better with females. I am wondering if she would be okay with submissive females as she like to be aphla? She was in the Flint journal on Saturday, I have the paper some where around the house. I will see if I can find the picture and if it is better than the one above I wil post it.

Thanks
RockyMud
