Yes I agree Gustav. I just saw an add and clicked, went to the website and read all about the dogs accomplishments. Should have posted that link, very impressive indeed. Very pretty dog to top it all off.
I hear this bad boy is down right scary...and puts allot of WL's to shame.

Jaguar Mausespitz was a hell of a worker, and produced it.

I am going to have to say, IMO Olesko Sandstein is probably the best current show line male out there so much so, that if you didn't know he was show lines, you would still be amazed at his working ability AND temperament. He is solid in temperament, serious in his work, happy to do it! and very willing. I was honored to be handed his leash by his owner, handler, trainer a couple of times at the New England Regional Conformation Show this year. Going into the show, I knew I was going to request this male for stud to my female. After spending time with him, alone, without his handler, and then watching him work I KNEW without a doubt that this dog was exceptional! Those who know me, know I do not hand out comments such as this to just any dog. I am HIGHLY critical of show line dogs, and their training.
I will also say, that Jasper Kleinen Teich, is also an outstanding dog. He too is on my list of males I am interested in breeding to my female. I have watched him train, compete at both local, regional and national levels and hang out. He is solid! He is serious.
It amazes me that the breeders of high lines are not looking to these two dogs as studs!! It is time to look to the dogs that truly have the working ability instead of breeding to the dogs that are the flavor of the month or produce the flying trot. I have seen both of these dogs work, train, and trial, I find them to be what SHOULD be added to the high lines. Neither of these dogs would run from a helper, jump off a sleeve over a stick hit or a threat of, or avoid engaging the helper. Both are V rated, KKL1 for life!

I absolutely agree with you. Fantastic point. Any videos, I'd love to watch them work.
Pardon my ignorance but are all these dogs in America? Are there ANY working showline dogs in the UK? IMO I don't really care what lines the dogs come from or their kennel names, it is just words on a piece of paper. I just care about whether they can do the business on the field.

Off the top of my head, in North America, no particular order-
Mature adults now proving they can pass it on-
- VA Ronaldo vom Zellergrund (wait till you see my pups work!)
- VA Andrushka van Noort (may be in Germany)
- VA Kevin Murrtal (no intro needed...)
Impressive young, up-and-coming dogs-
- VA Nick Alportal (Hoss Hirmer Teich son- (fast and full, all cleaned up)
- V1 Sherry vom Kirschental, SchH3, HGH! (being bred to some nice fm's)
- V1 Zafer vom Fredebach- wkg dog in a show dog costume
- V Intro vom Bullinger (100pts in A ALREADY?!)
There are more of course, but I'm out of time here.

Another two show-line studs that produce outstanding (yes, OUTSTANDING) drives (for toy and food, work ethic, energy, love to work kind of dogs) full, calm grips, nerve strength, general excellent temperament in general and in the work -
VA Liedo v Kuckuksland Schh3,KKl-1
V Geronimo v Olympus Schh3,KKl-1. I have a son of his that is EQUAL to the working-line young dogs I've worked and seen. He's full of s@#t and rarin to go - excellent in all phases and loves the bitework. Serious too! And drives to spare.

Thanks! Never imagined having a black/red on the end of my leash, but I'm really enjoying him, and can't compare him negatively to my working lines in his drives and temperament/nerves - !
