Beautiful boy Brent!! Wow, he looks great! How is his temperment?

by Oprah on 14 August 2008 - 03:08
Good expression, flat in the withers, short steep croup, down in the pasterns, east-west, long hocks, short upper-arm that could be better angled, long in the loin (stretched), the eyes could be darker, lacks front and rear angulation, normal chest development, large ears, set a bit wide (he may grow into them) normal pigment, normal bone and masculinity (could improve with age). Not harmonius, height to length is off (may balance out some with age). Overall very average in anatomy. He should be stacked better, unflattering picture. If he's healthy (check that patch on his snout, could be mange) and his hips are good and his temperament is good then he should make a fine pet.

Allison,
So far he has strong drive's and has been a handful, I was not prepared for the energy level. He has a thing for water like I've never seen in a GSD, We had to buy him a baby pool to keep him from making mud puddle's round his water bowl.
They all swim at least once a week. He can take a tug away from Maddy and Max together, two against one. He wade's into any action with the other three and put's on a bark and hold that wear's ya out. Lately since two are coming into season he has been challenging Max who's now almost two.
I'm still doing obedience and have been playing around with jump's and crawl's, also have been exposing him to horse's and cattle thinking of herding one day. I don't have any sheep close to home here but still looking.
He hasn't shown any shyness or fear's, obey's well, and like's people. He's only been aggressive with Max and one stray dog who wandered by one day. He has a strong bite and I can't take anything away from him unless he's commanded to leave it.
I need to learn more about training him and hoping to pick up a few pointer's at the show.
Brent.

Beautiful dog, Two Moons.
Hey, Oprah, how about a photo or 2 of your dogs so we can critique them?

by Two Moons on 14 August 2008 - 04:08
Blitzen,
Thank you, I appreciate your kind word's, all of them ..:)
Brent.

Hey Blitzen, the man asked for a critique and I thought I gave him an honest one. I don't need to post my dogs for a critique, I know what I have, how about you? If your feeling left out then post your dogs and I'll be happy to critique them for you also. Somehow I don't think you will, your more content to try and start shit aren't you. I thought you were ok, obviously I was wrong, just another shit stirrer and bully. Moon Man, if your dog is healthy and of good temperament then he will be a great pet, anatomy is last on the list (next to color & pigment). I'm Not trying to put you or your dog down as Blitzen is implying. Even if I don't think highly of you it's not your dog's fault.

Brent he is gorgeous. All the Kirschental dogs are of such amazing quality. He looks like he's built to work all day, and it sounds like he has the drives to match, which is what is really important An excellent representative of our breed. When and where are you showing him? Be sure to get lots of pictures and post them for us.

He is a real stunner. Gorgeous face and beautiful eyes. He is a really lovely pup.

I currrently own one GSD, a neutered pet male. I could care less what anyone here thinks of him. Why anyone would even ask on this board for a critique totally baffles me.

I want to thank everyone for their comment's, they brighten my day and thats a very nice feeling.
I really do not have the knowledge or the resource's to show him but it's nice to dream. I do plan on going to the show in October to see first hand what that's like.
Thank's again.
