Vickie,
I have been asked by Capt. Mike, to tell you that breeding is a roll of the dice. The Capt. said to inform you, that your "ASKO" dog could be bred to a Cocker Spaniel, and still produce a Working "ACE". He claims, you could outcross that BadBoy into anything.
Please don't be upset with me. I really am in the dark here. Plus, you know he drinks a lot of Grog!

Uhh, I don't know working lines, not my specialty. But I love this dog: www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/65025.html
I have a soft spot for dark sables with great structure. No idea idea if they'd be feasibly good together at all, completely gratuitous. ;)

Naw, I think I would pass on Iltus.
Don't care for some of the people who own or have owned his progeny. I some times wonder why don't some breeders screen their buyers a little better!

Since this is a paper exercise AND I believe in going if at all possible to the best dog for the bitch, I did not factor distance into the equation. Also since you did not indicate any preference re open breeding vs linebreeding, I considered both.
1. I believe known for good hip production Norbo Ben Ju. According to this page they have some frozen semen. http://www.vandenheuvelk9.com/norbo.html . Would result in this linebreeding
2. Slight linebreeding but also brings in another strong male line with similar type SG Gump di Dranel ( Troll Milinda to Czech bitch) http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/127641.html All Troll M crosses would also have distant linebreeding ( what I call the back 40) to the Ritterberg dogs and many of the other DDR dogs as well as Mike Bungalow, B litter Lierberg and Grief.
5 - 5............................................. in SG Cir z Vrtovske doliny
3. For hip AND elbow production you can not beat the sibling and half sibling depth on this dog V Raccoon's Daucus http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/385839.html This family also has great consistency of type and I personally think beauty as well. ( Troll M to a Macho Kosakenwald daughter linebred 3-3 on Torro Korbelbach) As noted below in #4 tho an open breeding just look at the type and production of the predominant males in the first three generations, Troll, Macho, Bronson.
4. And in this country there are several Troll sons you might want to consider including Axel vom Matschenka http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/509123.html. Though there is a lot of commonality in the 6th and 7th generation this would be considered an outcross. But what an outcross! Troll 4x WUSV linebred 2-3 on Fado ( 2-3 linebreedings tend to be very strong for producing type and traits) with a cross to Orry/Verwin taken to Dutch KNVP lines that double back to Verwin w/ a line to Condor Dommel (known for producing strong police dogs) so Axel himself is 3-4 on Verwin ( another strong production linebreeding). Then this is being taken to your bitch a Bronson daughter and Titus granddaughter. Combining the best of WG working, KNVP , Czech and DDR. but with some good type to type breeding also.

Norbo would be a good cross but you are talking about using frozen semen on a 7 year old bitch very iffy . I would look into Zoran Ben Ju. He is double on Titus and goes to Pike as well. He stands now in CA.

5. Another Troll son in the states SG Bolo van Eisen Linde which is Troll to a UFO sister. Brings in a different set of Dutch/KNVP lines than Axel does. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/404531.html
6. There are a number of UFO (Zidane) and UGO progeny and crosses in the states that might make very nice outcross breedings. In US Amos von Getevallei http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/390255.html (Once again Troll M this time to Ugo dau). Here is a dog in NZ (frozen semen available) Police dog linebred 2-3 on Belschik v Eicken Brucke with a cross to Ugo vom Burenswald. Optikas Diesel http://www.sp.co.nz/heisenberg/dogs/male/5/ped.html
7. Surprisingly this dog also comes up as an open breeding as the commonalities are once again in the 6th and 7th generation. V (LGZS) Aron vom Poppitz http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/491759.html I suspect however that this would be a very strong type to type breeding. he has some nice looking progeny.
8. The same kennel has a young dog Foenix Vom Banach which would result in the following linebreeding. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/491759.html
5 - 4............................................. in VD Titus z Pohraniční stráe CS
5 - 3............................................. in Jara od Policie
5 - 4............................................. in SG Cora Pohodelska samota
4,5 - 3........................................... in VYBORNY Ex Hronovsky pramen
9. And stupidly I was forgetting the incredibly talented Andy Maly Vah out of Nesie Ben Ju litter sister to Norbo and thus hopefully the same good hip genetics. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/410114.html Gives you
4 - 4............................................. in VD Titus z Pohraniční stráe CS
5 - 5,5........................................... in Bero vom Friedersdorfer Flur
5 - 5............................................. in Vera z Pohranicni straze
10. Jeff Eqidius http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/430094.html
5 - 4............................................. in Astor vom Waldidyll
11. Brix z Malej Fatrey http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/460915.html plus some additional linebreeding on Astor in 6,6-4
12. Car zo Strby http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/430259.html
