Just for the record I was not showing anything, I had gone to meet friends (who did very well with both their dogs, one GSD & another non GSD) so if you are incinuating that my moaning about barking dogs was sour grapes you couldn't be further from the truth,  WHEN I enter any shows I accept the judges placings with good grace,  I'm not prone to whinging if I don't do well !

I totally agree with Longshanks comments on dog aggression, yes it should be stamped on severely, I feel some owners accept it too freely as just a dog showing spirit or even like the barking 'its what dogs do'.

I remember at last years NW&Pbreeds show, I was watching at the ringside with a MPdog & being asked by a well known handler to move my puppy back as the handlers bitch would have a go at him everytime she passed, he was lieing down quietly asleep...I was somewhat shocked & very saddened that that type of charactor is happily being masked, just as long as the dog shows well ...what future are we looking too temperament wise as no doubt the said bitch will in time be bred from ??
