Arent names fun? Makes you wonder what people think at times. My boy has several of such "go figure" names in his pedigree, one of the weirdest is "Baroness Negerfresser". This makes you really wonder about the one who gave that name....

TY Rose ;) I first just joined to look at some lines that I was researching before buying my lovely boy, then listed him, and only recently found this wealth of experience and knowledge....boy have I seen the good, bad and ugly this past few weeks!

sure has opened my eyes to what truly goes on, so much I was unaware of and so much I have learned from past posts and new ones.

Is there a way of finding dogs that have similar breeding to another? prolly a silly Q but don't ask the Q don't get an answer right

Just curious to what dogs may have the same lines that my boy has in him and what they are like

newbie alert! lol

Hey, there's nothing wrong with naming your dog after a whiskey

My White GSD rescue was supposed to be my dh's dog so he named him Jamieson (after the irish whiskey), the lab he adopted was Gosling (after a spiced jamican rum) and our cat was Madra which is Galic for "DOG"

Milli, if you look in the upper left hand corner of the site you will see a GSD search option.  You can put in the name of your dog.  He came up for me so he is in there.  You will see a a siblings, progeny,  etc. option.  If you click on those you will be able to see what dogs are related to him.  If you click on his sire's name you will find all the dog's he has produced and so on...

TY I have done that I was wondering if I put in some of his gg or GGG  from both sides if I was able to get a list of matches?

Since his whole pedigree is listed, you can just click on their names to take you to their page.  You can then look at their siblings and progeny.
