Funky Monkey and Brady Bee:  Do you have anything to add germain to the topic at hand?  Do you think you can manage to stick to the topic out of courtesy to the original poster?   If you want to start another thread feel free,  but please at least have enough courtesy to stop posting pointless and immature posts that have nothing to do with the topic on other peoples threads. 

I actually thought that this would be an interesting thread to start in order to inform/educate people that have no idea about baiting.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT I TRULY THINK OF DOG FIGHTING RINGS AND USING LIVE BAIT.I AM SORRY THESE TROLLS  HAVE FOLLOWED ME TO THIS THREAD AS THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SUBJECT.WE DO NOT HAVE AS MUCH ORGINISED DOG FIGHTING HERE BUT YES IT DOES HAPPEN.I AM ACTIIVELY INVOLVED IN AN ACTION GROUP AGAINST THIS DEPLORABLE ACT.SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT IT AND I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO HELP PUT A STOP TO IT. We had an adult intact male (well rescue neutered him) St. Bernard used as a bait dog with his teeth filed down in our obediance class.  He had ISSUES but ended up going to the home of a recent widow of 79 with his issues resolved.  It was sad how he would react to a couple of dogs fighting in class (you can tell owners not to let their dogs say hi to each other, doesn't mean they listen).

We just had a 9 month's pregnant 23 year old and her hubby arrested for 18 fighting pitbulls (number of dead and buried still unknown) and animal control and PD said she was the coldest person they ever saw.  She actually quoted parts of the bible justifying her behavior.  My friends said it was so sickening, she even had the equipement to electrocute the dogs in front the other dogs, she said the more the "cur" screamed during the electrocution (may take a while for the dog to die), the better learning experience it was for the other dogs (said to an undercover officer days before the arrest). Dogs that submit and won't fight are called curs or turning cur at least where I am.  Not to be confused with the breed Southern Curs which are cool dogs.
