Some of you have good hearts, but you get suckered because of it. Stories, situations etc., are not always as posted here or as they seem. There are a lot of "strange" things in this entire saga......but I will let it go at that.
By the way, I have never seen a GSDs' bite dramatically change over the course of many months. But how some of you might define change or dramatic may differ.

For those of you that are un-informed, a dog's bite can change while it is growing. Especially one like Nya that had a problem. This does not mean that everyone on here will see it in their lifetime.
To Lisa 2004,
You are an c_nt! You basically rescued a dog, RESCUED A DOG! Anyone that seeks out and purchases a dog for $200 to breed it is an idiot. You are obviously someone that is in this for the money. Don't respond with how you aren't in it for the money because you aren't breeding her now. You saw this as a way to get a cheap dog that you could make a bunch of money off of with little to no investment. Get a clue and get a life. I spoke to Krista on the phone a couple of times about this after she posted about needing help. I am a rescuer in the Chicagoland area and tried to help her by giving her some friendly advice. The reason she chose for you to have the dog was because she felt that she could trust you. Then you come on here and start blasting her while she is going through some incredibly tough times. What did you or anyone else gain by your actions? Did you save the rest of us from another Judy Malone? You rescued a dog. Provide it with a good life and enjoy her. Otherwise, crawl back in your hole and shut the f... up!

This is obviously a kid we are or were dealing with...right.....Is Krista a teenager or not....
She is not an adult...so why would any one of you not be aware she has a one eyed level of knowledge and she is not old enough to know whether her dogs bite is what is should be or has every raised enough dogs to know the difference of what change could happen .She evidentally did not tell the truth.......Dogs bites do not change that drastically in a few months, whether you have 5 years of experience of 100 years of experience...
No arguement on that point....this kid has lied about more than the jaw and the teeth...Read the other thread

YellowRose,
You are a wealth of incorrect and useless knowledge. Feel free to call Dr. Herbert Preiser in Northbrook, IL. He has been a veterinarian for about forty years and involved with GSD's at least that long. He forgets more about GSD's, and dogs in general, on a daily basis than you will know in a lifetime.
You seem to keep wanting to make a point about about the fact that Krista is a teenager. If you were worth your salt why didn't you find that out before offering her a puppy??? It seems that you aren't too concerned where your dogs go and you're trying to cover for yourself now.

OGBS: Dogs overbite do not change from that degree shown in the picture to normal and now back to the overbite that shown on this site....No Im not a Doctor , but when someone leads us down an incorrect posting on a dog , and plays on all of our sympathies, even to some sending her money , feeling sorry for an adult , hit at a hard time in our economy, then
Yes, i will post my disappointment and yes , this was misrepresented to all of us.....I offered a pup to a person who I and a whole lot of other people thought was an adult.
I would not want to give a pup to a minor child . I have been reading the posting for a month and have watched Naya's postings for the last year..I dont read everyone and had no way of knowing this was a minor...
Because she has posted so regularly and has always told us the dog passed her Theraphy test and was going to be certified,,,why would I not think this was an adult , that deserved to have another chance ., later when her crisis was over.
Im not sure she is a minor , now...Several post , she is , and some are , now saying ,she is an adult woman in her mid 40's, which is what I thought I was corresponding to....
Im sure your DR. has forgotten a whole lot more than you know , also..and that was not such a nice thing to show your , fine temperament in saying...Hope your dogs dont have your attitude...
'Dogs overbite do not change , to normal ,from 20 months old to back to a normal bite...You show me one and Ill believe it...This dog has a bad overbite and has had for months , and probably was that way when she bought it,,,,,. Dont know if it was worse,,I have not that knowledge..I also know that no one here is trying to hurt Naya....just dont play on our hearts and cause all of us to get upset over facts that seem to be that are not.. We all care about Naya and we thought we were all helping Naya's mom get thru a hard time and post our concerns....She has lashed out and caused the questions , not any of us..
We just dont like being "led down the wrong path" with little white lies....if that is what has happened...So far, no one has told us what is really the truth.

EXCELLENT QUESTION!! Maybe they are BOTH immature kids!! I haven't a clue what either of them is doing talking about breeding dogs, if they are minors, but it is bettr than them breeding babies!!
by hodie on 26 June 2008 - 00:06
Don't worry, they probably already bred too. Sometimes I just want to vomit when I read some of the shameful stuff that goes on here. What happened to ethical behavior? Using common sense? Having a brain?

AHodie: I started to pm you in private, but no need. What I have to say might as well be said to the whole board..
Krista is a 17 year old...She has problems...I wont go into the whole story..but nothing here is as it is....I got many notes and emails from those close to the situation...I do not have all the details..but
Lisa is married and her husband and her took Naya as a good deed, and was told about the dog by another member of our data base....
The dog Naya is out of "Itis" who I was told in an email is known for producing "Bite problems" genetic defect...
Several postings said she was a Theraphy dog , but it seems that the certificate was never issued to the dog ,,
There is another german shepherd, which was purchased by her from someone else.. She also had GOLDENS, and dont know where or what the story is there.
She has told a lot of people she is a teacher , and is in her mid 40;s ..She has the voice of a 20 or 30 year old. so if it wasnt her , they were talking to , no one knows at this point...
I have never been in this situation on the board to have offered help to someone who wasnt who we thought..but now it will just have to play out. I have nothing to gain or lose here, but hate that this tugged at my heart and I wanted to help a person in need , thinking they needed a home and were in trouble due to the economy....Do not know the real story, nor if we will.

So just because Krista is a teenager she the one thats automatically wrong?? So what if she never lied about the bite and whatever else she lied about but no one ever asked her how old she was would she still have been wrong? Would it have been wrong to offer her a puppy, with parental consent/signature (because of her age)?? What age do you have to be to where its acceptable not to disclose it? 25, 28, 33, 50?? Obviously this girl did a good job decieving you all about her age, she fooled many people, but obviously she can carry a mature conversation and acts older than she really is. Lieing has NOTHING to do with age. Heck, I've been screwed over by 40+ year olds in this little GSD community. I just dont see how the situation would have been any different if she was a 40 year old woman.
