My 7 month old male took vp1 at the bluegrass regional show in ky!

My doggies and I had not been to training in 2 months (money). I have been working on OB myself and my TD said my dog should be ready for his PDC in September. All we have to work on is the out. That news put a big fat smile on my face.

That was going thru my head too.... and I came up with an idea that will either be entertaining or I'm going to get bashed by the hard cores...LOL...  The new topic will be coming up shortly on the messageboard......

I just got a PEN (performance event number) for my rescue GSD, so now I can compete with him in OB and tracking!

The baby's doing very well with beginner agility and OB!

My oldest bitch was bred this week for what I plan to be her last litter.  I am crossing my fingers that it takes and she delivers healthy babies, I am dying for a male from her for sport. I am super excited.

And my daughter's puppy is doing really well in OB, she is looking to show her in rally next month.

I had my first litter and all went well, I'm glad most of the puppies are gone now but my personal favorite is still here and I'm hoping I can keep em long enough for my husband to get attached to him. lol  I need another male like I need a third boob though so I don't know about this one. lol

Trainings been coming along well, I think my light finally came on and I had an epiphany. lol  Working on a lot of control with my young dog and doing obedience everyday at home.  He's coming along very well, I'm pleased with him.

We're getting an inground pool in a couple weeks so I'll have a big muddy mess in the backyard for a couple weeks but I think it'll be well worth it.  I even purchased stairs so the dogs and go in and out if they want to jump in and cool off.

I'm more frustrated with the kids being off for the summer than I am with all the dogs. lol  Looks like it's gonna be a looooonnnnnngggggg summer!

Congrats Uli!!! Capone is still a pet...but I see him daily. Beautiful...such a shame.

Eve went VP1 last weekend!!! Good news there!!!

Yeah,

I admit I can be at my worst during the full moon, but it also brings out my best at time's.  It has as much to do with the weather during this time as anything.

I'd like to be all cheerie but times are hard financially, I can't take the dogs place's as often because of gas price's, and its a pinch to come up with cash for dogfood, interceptor, and frontline lately.

But on a lighter note, Indie's training has gone well and he's growing like a weed.  Max has come into his own as he is maturing and now take's on his duty's as guard dog (night shift) seriously, no more running off.   I had some fear earlier that midnite had bred without permission but that has passed thank goodness.  And its summer and we enjoy swimming so much.   The snow and ice and mud are now just a faint memory and keeping kennels clean is a breeze. 

Now I am looking forward to the forth and a camping trip with the wife and 4 excited dogs.   Lotsa water, sun , and cooking out.    Some fireworks and plenty of Gin and Tonic, and maybe do the big nasty on the river bank..!!

 some wonderful news: My little girl Aatira is healthy - without any bad results in HD/ED. I let x-rayed her yesterday - and the result was wonderful. I love her!!!
