I'm so sorry. I wish you the best and know you will find the perfect homes. Perhaps you will find somebody willing to foster? I'm too far away.....

Well, I have about 6 people to sort through from all various states wanting the girls, so now, it's just weeding out the exact home I want them to go to. I am still open to any other applicants.

Hi there,
I am speechless, wow. I have ejoyed watching Naya grow up on the board from when you first posted her, her therapy title, hip xrays, ect. She has always been an interest because she is a sister to my female. I too am in Michigan. We were forced to move also a year ago but were fortunate to find a rental that allowed all of our dogs. If I can be of any help...

Krista, My heart goes out to you. I know that there are many of us who worry about what the economy is doing to our lives and how that affects our ability to have and care for our dogs. I also was going to suggest perhaps you could find a foster situation at least temporarily. Also I don't know if any of your dogs are age appropriate but Leader Guide Dogs in michigan does take donated dogs - both Goldens and GSDs. I believe CCI may also and you could check with Fidelco about Naya. Please be so so careful of any responses from this board as there are so many scam artists out there
Rather than going OT here, I am going to start a new thread that I ask you all to read - "I'm mad as h__ and I'm not going to take it anymore".
Krista, our prayers are with you. Beth

I've had to quick sell my homes twice in the last ten years because of soaring mortgage rates and getting laid off my jobs, always conceurrently. My heart goes out to you. I hope you can find a place where you can keep the dogs, as I have always been fortunate enough to find, after all.
Take care and God bless,
SS

I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope you find the best possible homes for your babies and also hope things will turn around for you soon. If I had more room... Best of luck to you.

Krista,
This is probably going to be the hardest thing that you will have to deal with right now. I am so very sorry that you and your family have to go through this. If I had room I would house them here until you were back on your feet. I couldn't imagine being in your shoes right now. I am always here if you need to talk, etc.
GOD bless!!!

Thank you all, and to those who have PM, with words of support, offers to help and house them, but I just don't see myself getting out of this situation any time soon, and I just think it would be best if my girls were worked to their true potential, and I just can't do it right now.
Thank you all again, I really appreciate your kind words, it's making this very difficult time a little less difficult.
Thank you again,
Krista
