Congrats, always a good feeling.

I was thrilled when I got my girls Excellent results.

There's been a lot of chat about differences between SV and the OFA.  Just thought I'd share my own difference.

My male, was A normal at a year with the SV, sent those same xrays to the OFA for a prelim, they thought that the right hip was mildly displastic.  At 6 I submitted new films to the OFA, They said OFA Fair.  For him it was good to see no changes after 6 years of Schutzhund and herding training.

My female also A normal at a year, sent her OFA films in at 3, and was OFA excellent.  So in fact true that an a normal hip can be fair, good, or excellent.

Thanks everyone for giving Xena the congrats....I am happy that everything turned out ok. I just love her and would have been heart broken if her hips or elbows came back bad. Well at least that is all behind us now and I am focusing on her SchH titles.

I travel over an hour one way to do the OFA's on my dogs. The vet, Redwood Vet Clinic,  that I go to does alot of OFA's and is the best I have been too.  I called my vet yesterday to see what they charge for OFA's, since fuel prices are NOT cheap now, well when I asked what they charge for OFA's the vet tech said " what are those". I said never mind and called Redwood Vet and made an appointment...I guess the saying "if it aint broke dont fix it" means alot in this case. I now dont mind spending the extra money in fuel to go to a place that I know knows how to do OFA's CORRECTLY

I hope Brix's xrays turn out just as nice if not better...

Thanks Michelle....she is my Warrior Princess. That is how she got her name. She was a tough little pup. She held her own with the boys. She would take their toys and guard then and not let them have any.  She also never gives up.

She is maturing into a nice female.

Jyl,

Xena is turning out to be a nice looking girl.  Her name is very fitting..  I am glad we finally got  some great pictures for you.  Now for the rest of the bunch..

And hopefully we can get Rookie and Xenas BH's in a few months..  That will be a great thing.  It will be nice to title them before they are 6.. hehe (private joke)

They better be titled before they are 6..Aiko is 5 so I have to hurry now...hehe. It was fun working dogs...we will have to get some more cool pictures when you go on vacation.

As for Xena..she is really turning out really nice. I sure hope she goes as far as I want her too.
