Oli, the changes are all very nice thus far and the site is certainly becoming quite user friendly as well. THANK YOU for the future STUD DOG REGISTRY! This will be a huge asset to breeders who are researching potential mates for their females. There's a lot that could be done with such a registry, like making it searchable via geographic location, bloodlines, titled/Koer'd, hip ratings, etc. etc. and I'm sure if anyone can do it, you can! Many thanks for all you've done and intend to do. The GSD breed and its enthusiasts are lucky to have a friend like you.
Many thanks,
Diane Seaman

Thanks Oli.
The time and energy you spend on this is amazing. Like Jackie mentioned, I also found two wonderful dogs using the ads here.
For those that don't know, a "nerd" is Never Ending Radical Dude, so being a nerd is a good thing.

Oli, I am so glad this is breaking even for you. "Way back when" I used to wish you charged for it to keep it going--we all had severe withdrawal when it was down! I'm so glad the advertising model is working, at least, so you can keep the steak and chablis going. I hope you make a gazillion dollars--oops, perhaps Euros would be nicer these days!
Thanks so very much for your work.

Hello Oli,
I have a question and realize that, while the project I suggest may be monumental, it would greatly benefit GSD breeders throughout the world. We know that the titles (both schutzhund and HGH) and breed surveys of many dogs are not "real". At considerable expense, people who send their dogs to professional trainers abroad and elsewhere are distressed when their "titled" dogs return home and appear to have little or no training.
Without speaking German or having access to score books and körscheins, in order for us to make or to advise wise breeding choices, for each dog (registered on the PDB), we need to know (1) the trial venues, titles, all scores, names of performance judges and (2) venues and judges for all breed surveys.
We have recently seen in the performance tests at the USA Sieger Show in San Jose that many VA and V dogs and bitches were poorly trained and appear to have bogus titles. Unfortunately, although this show was a UScA event, many of the poorest performances were from dogs titled and breed surveyed with WDA clubs. Unfortunately, the WDA does not publish the results of breed surveys in its newsletter or in its website archives.
With these considerations in mind, I have come to the conclusion that the ultimate responsibility for legitimizing all titles and breed surveys throughout the world rests with the SV in Germany and its club of "good old boy judges" who foster these practices. We cannot begin to solve these problems at home unless the SV itself cooperates and is motivated toward improvement.
IMO, the only way to motivate these judges and the SV appears to be by exposing them and their unethical practices by providing readily accessible factual data in one location. This would be an invaluable tool and service for all GSD fanciers--one that most would gladly pay for. With this information at hand, we could attempt to better the breed by not supporting judges and clubs with questionable practices, not sending dogs to unethical trainers, and by not breeding dogs with bogus titles and breed surveys.
Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

hi oli,
pity you never replied to my personal email message to you.
still perhaps i can ask the same question here and hope for a response-can you ensure that democracy still applies on this wonderful site and tell Mr videx ( who we all know is a moderator on on here, why we are not sure, you obviously dont know the man at all) to leave the messages alone just because they don't agree with his.-thanking you.

Oli
First, Thank you for the upgrades. Looking rather nice.
Second, Sorry to hear of your troubles, well thankfully, lack of troubles. However, what are you requirements for obtaining material that has been deleted already? Do you require a written request from an attorney to you or your law firm? If it needs to be directed to your legal firm, will you be providing their contact information for those of us that need it?
I only ask because I have tried to contact you several times via PM concerning a thread that was deleted. To date, I've had no response from you. The Ohio Statue of Limitations is running thin, and I would like to get this matter taken care of as soon as possible. If my attorney needs to write a notice to you or your attorneys to request the thread needed, I would like to get that done as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Oli, there are a lot of computer nerds, but few software geniuses of your caliber. You created a great idea and had the drive, and smarts to make it real. Your site is truly unique and I hope you are able to regain all the money you invested and do well long term with this site. Certainly you deserve this. Any news to report on the cheap ripoff site that lifted some of your creative work?
