Pia - How are you doing? Sorry I wasn't able to come down to the AWDF and hang with you and Greg again.

My girl Jackie broke the tip of her Canine off when she was just 9 months old. I took her to a dental specialist and he capped her tooth with an epoxy. It has done very well so far and she is now almost 3. Because she was a pup he was hoping for the root to at least survive until she was 2.5. He explained that once they get past 2 the root is pretty much stopped growing and is firmly anchored in. The cap is to protect the root. If the root gets infected or damaged then a root canal would have to be performed. The Vet explained that if she ever had a root canal that it would work and be as strong as her live tooth. It's not a cheap option though. I wish you and Eon the best.
