It is not an unusual request, because of the reasons listed above dealing with organizations and entities. IF the person is clear on his/her needs with training an has experience with that and you also have the ability to help select the best canidate/pup for the position...it is a noble cause and great help for people with disabilities. We have placed many for various tasks..including hearing dogs and physical needs. As with ANY puppy placement you need to communicate with each other clearly on needs, wants and desires of a potential owner as to optimize success and placement for a lifelong home!!! GOOD LUCK to all!
