Hey,
I have a 7 month old female and also a 14 month old male and after reading this post I am a little concerned about the difficulty of keeping them seperated!
They all just live in the house but usually stay in the garden fro the night .
Is it really that hard to keep them seperated?
I have a kennel for the dogs but very rarely use it. The only problem is it is not very tall so my male might be able to jump it. But i also have some spare rooms seperate from the rest of the house and i could keep the female in there.
Also, I asked a friend about this and he said maybe try using those anti-mating sprays that they sell in pet shops. Anyone had any experience with those??
Thanks.

I think that the garden would be very very risky. If a male is determined enough, they will climb/dig fences, break out of crates, open doors, you name it! For me, having the female with me nearly 100 percent of the time is the only way that I feel safe! The girls will also seek out the boys!
