My GSD is 12 and he has suffered from "winter nose" nearly every year and not always in the winter, we have found that it often has coincided with his moult.
We have never done anything to correct it, as it has always gone on its own. I certainly dont follow the nutritional deficiency theory seeing as he looks about 7 or 8 rather than his true age.

sultan is in well shape, he's well taken care of. what i 've noticed that is fading away little by litlle. his nose pigmentation is less than before so i hopefully hope that goes away. but his gums , and tongue is pink so I will keep you guys updated!!! but i see it improving. thanks much!!!
