i have heard it said that a "saddleback", because of its markings, shows off the dogs conformation better than a sable, bi, or black. easier to see the "lines" of the dog.
im sure there are others who could give a more detailed report about it.

thanks.....thinking about it makes sense--
-BUT, ( not directing this at anyone) of course doesn't make it "right"....i thought thats why judges run their hands all over the dogs.....
