By the way, your threads will NOT get deleted on our site, unless you are bashing someone or slamming them like it is done on this site constantly! Live Chat Wed. night by the way! 8 pm to 10 pm. Come on over and join us.....

So you do not allow freedom of speech either? This is what I was referring to in another thread. No matter how well intended, there cannot be such a thing as an unmoderated board where everyone is allowed to do their own thing. This is the first you've said you will delete posts. Until today you've sounded as if you allow your members to say anything they want in the name of free speech. I guess I misunderstood?

Are you so depserate for members you have to troll on another message board? How rude!

Actually I think it is against the TOS also.

Now guys...if we're going to go after one we have to go after them all. Other members have put their message boards out here as well - one was attached to a kennel site and the other was a SchH/working dog forum - neither of which were lambasted, and neither of which were deleted.
For the most part I havent seen anyone post out of line on that board - though it may be because it is as of right now a smaller, tighter knit group. I havent seen a reason to delete anything there myself at least.
However - I think the most important thing is it does not suffer from selective moderation. I dont give a rat's toot if threads are deleted here or anywhere else - what does bother me is that some threads which for the most part have seemed like useful discussions to me are deleted while racism, b**** fights, and boobs stay on. If you're going to moderate - you should moderate fairly and proffesionally - I am sure that is how you do it on your board. Moderators should be examples for the members - and should be above deleting threads just because they disagree. That does not seem to be the case here.

The owner of the message board that was attached to a kennel site started one thread about that message board when it was new. One thread was started about the working dog forum by someone who was a member of both. With regards to both of them, the thread originators did not come back here time after time to beg for members and they sure did not have the bad taste to knock Pedigree Data Base while freeloading off it to get business.
Leaves a bad taste, that's for sure.
It's great that people have many forums to choose from, just show a little class and don't constantly run your mouth about Oli's board while trolling for members, Shepherd Woman.
