Rezkat5

And I have to say, I'm kinda speachless on the Poodle.  Why she bred the dog without doing any research is beyond me.  I just hope that she has the dog spayed afterward.

Rezkat-She will be two in April. No hurry to breed her just want to be prepared. Like I said earlier I will never quiet learning about my passions. I just was talking to another one of friends who also works with a vet and she said the same exact thing you just did. I understand that due to her having no titles yet that everyone wants titles on her, but right now I have to find someone to help me put them on her. This is my first shepherd that will have any kind of titles on her. I did not know there was an age to start with SchH. I just learned about it within a year ago. I am learning kind of slow about that one. But everything else, I think I understand and know just like the back of my hands. Thanks for your worries and concerns.

I have to agree about the poodle. I have actually talked to her about spaying her. She doesn't want too, but the daughter does. I don't think the male was pure poodle by the pictures, he looked kind of like a Shih Tzu. Weird. I am crossing my fingures that Amy, the poodle DOES NOT get pregnant. I can only hope and pray for that miracle.

It's not to late to start with Schutzhund, but I would not wait too much longer.  As there is lots and lots to learn for both dog and handler.   It is a very big commitment  on your part.  Plus, you have to see if the dog is suitable.  The way I look at titles and breed surveys is that you've done your homework on the dog.

There's a minimum age that a dog can be titled in Schutzhund, but generally speaking the training starts when they are pretty young.

Great, she's breeding one of those "fancy" breeds!

OY!

I won't wait much longer than. Is there any web sites that you know of off the top of your head about titles/breed surveys?

I don't really like the "fancy" breeds. I have to agree with you again. Great
