Great, great photo, but nah. There's be ripples from the dog having walked out on the ice. I don't doubt the situation happened but some photoshopping happened as well. Still, an awesome picture!

Two Moons, I feel for you. We have the snow, then rain, then ice thing going here as well. This is a picture of Mr. Inelegant going for his ball this afternoon.

And tighe, if you say o Photoshop I have no reason not to believe it. It's a great image.

cool shot!  I have one similar of one of mine (below) - imagine being that focused on something !

When I first spotted the photo of Katie in our local river flyer I immediately called Mr. Watson to get permission to use it on the cover of our GSD club's newsletter.  He showed me a bunch of other photos he had taken that day as well.  All pretty neat, but this one was the best.  He use to have a website about her, but I can't find it now.  I helped him get a new dog last year and I haven't spoken to him since.

Don't you just love action shots like that?

Melanie Becker takes some great ones. She's in PA and does the photography for some of the trials in her area. Like oyur Mr. Watson she's gotten some of thjose once in a lifetime lucky shots that just knock your socks off.

I love that I have a digital camera and can take 80 bad shots just to get one like this!  LOL

Does Melanie have a website I can check out?

I don't know if Mel has a current site. You can PM her here on the board. She's GSDfan.

Here's one better than walking on water. He can do 4 paws at 40 knots and 2 paws at 20 knots.
