Branco is indeed sable and genetically Sable/black and tan.

I am very please with the litter, good bone, super temperament, good color, confirmation wise nice to look at and in the work all you can ask for from a 7 month old puppy. Two of the puppies were x-rayed so far and both have super hips and elbows.

My Onni is a sable, although as she gets older she looks almost like a B&T saddle.

Patterned sable - obviously sable. Nice dog, very good in structure, work and temperament..

"obviously sable." LOL - arrgh, so much to learn! Why "obviously"? Is it the lightness of his coat around his head and shoulders? Or the (I don't know how to describe it) bleed through of lighter hairs? His photo on the pdb makes him look much lighter than the dog I remember seeing in the flesh. (in the fur? )

What's the difference between a sable (patterned sable) and a b/t with poor coat pigment?

sable....looks B/T I've worked Branco in protection numerous times......never really paid attention to his color. Love the dog....
