LOL not trying to imply your dim, just so many people get intimidated and think it's too complicated when it really isn't. Your dogs ribs will indicate when he needs more or less food intake and his stools will tell you if he needs more bone or more organ meat. It doesn't have to be an exact science every meal either. Some days I skipped the 70/30 method and threw a beef heart or a lung at the dog and called it good.

Boss is going to love you...even more than he already does.

Hello just thought I would mention any change in diet should not be a sudden change best to add the old type of food in with the new and perhaps even spend a few weeks trying different raw diet ingredients one at a time. Meaty bones can be added immediately if not already in the diet but then add the eggs, yogurt, fish and other goodies as a partial meal with your previous food or to plain kibble don't get too concerned about every supplement suggested on every site take your time rather than try to figure it all out at once. You already have access to the best ingredient for puppy weaning formula in your Goats milk!  I have seen posters who switch overnight and wonder why the dogs have watery stool one day and hard lumps the next.???

So true.  They try to "overthink" the diet and in doing so convince themselves that they have to be doing something wrong because of how easy it really is.  In fact, other than "prepping" if you buy in bulk, it's no more difficult than scooping kibble from a bag.  (That's after you've done your research about what and how much to feed.)

I have 120 lbs. of bulk coming in today, plus the organ meat that I already have here thawing.  I'll cut up the hearts and organ meat and use a meat cleaver on the chicken backs if the backs need to be cut down.  That will be weighed (I weigh initially, "guesstimate most" and check once in a while to make sure I'm still pretty accurate with my "guesstimates"). I package 2-3 days worth of meals per bag.  Those are then frozen and taken out to thaw in the refrigerator as needed.  At feeding time it's a matter of removing the "guesstimated" amounts of the RMB's, MM and OM from the bag, putting it in the bowl and feeding.  (As 4pack pretty well stated, it's not necessarily balance every meal but balance over time.)  You can add supplements etc. to whichever meals you like if you choose to do that.

I generally feed about 55% RMB's, 40% MM and 5% OM.

Now, that effort today will put up about 2 months worth of meals for Giza feeding twice a day.  I'm set for a while.  In two months we'll do it again.

I'm sure both you and Boss will love the benefits.
