My dog Ashley, recently died from eating a dead rat.The company I used, for pest control was Orkin. They assured me,that if one of my dogs was to eat a dead rat.It would not be harmful to my dogs. But in this very thread,I read.A rat can eat 20 times the normal amount of poison,it takes to kill it.And that they can carry some of the poison back to their nest.I confronted them about it.And they got all evasive, and were only concerned with maintaining a performance of excellence. For their company.But.I know what killed Ashley. When I found her dead. She had substantial weight loss. And blood was pouring out her nose, like her nose was a faucet. The same condition,I had found many dead rats around my property.(which I promptly buried, when discovered.)Up until then,I believed Orkin. And their assurance. My dogs would be safe.I called Orkin, and asked them to remove all bait stations around my house. They did in the same day,I discovered my dog dead.No apology though from them. And they continued,to spout that BS about how my dogs were safe. They have the knowledge. And I do believe. They knew the risk to my dogs. But continue to maintain.Thats not what could of killed my dog.If they or anyone else, who reads this.Saw her.It would of been obvious,as to what took her life.My dog is dead. And their company is more concerned, with discrediting my beliefs. On what killed my dog.I will never do business with them again. And Yesterday. They sent one their employee's out to refund me for February's payment.I made to them. When I told him, about all I read in this thread. He just looked at me,with this arrogant smirk. No sympathy at all.Only concern about his job.And the continued excellent performance of the Orkin company.Do not trust Orkin. They are not truthful about the potential risk,to your pets. Its all about money with them.Rest in peace Ashley.I miss you very much!
