It is about the same here in Northern Indiana in Warsaw with over five lakes around. My kennels up front look about the same. Yuck! In the spring getting a huge Carolina carport or Versa tube model to cover all the runs and walls will extend down and up from the bottom leaving about ten feet free air flow. The sides can be tarped in the winter, but tarps over head are just made for jumping dogs to tear down and without a ceiling fill up as you would know. I am about ready to move to southern KY but I train with Randy Rhodes which is why I moved to this siberia!!!!! Should have done this as soon as I moved here but our winters were not as bad as this year. Good luck to you in getting your place nice and comfy and EASY to take care of, Barb Eichman
