My guys go through them in 20 minutes or less!  One can go through a 12 inch one in 10 minutes.  Is it a puppy?

Well, I do know that they are a ligament or tendon from a bull.  Though heard that it was an urban legend that it's a bull penis.  Have you seen the 36 inch ones?  LOL

No, I'm pretty sure it's a penis.......Did you hear the one about the 2 nuns who came to America? They were talking to each other as they got off the ship and took their first stroll down an American street. "I heard they eat dogs in America, Sister!" the one says. "Well, we'll just have to try to fit in," says the other. Just then they spied a hot dog vendor at the next corner. They hurried up and each ordered a 'dog'. They sat down on a park bench and each timidly held their snacks. "Well, they're not big enough to be a whole dog," the one guessed, "they must just be parts!" The one Sister peeked under the wrapper at her hot dog and blushed. Turning to the other, she asked, "Sister! What part did you get?" .........jackie harris

Yes, a bully stick is a bull's penis.  My dogs LOVE them too.  You're right they are way too expensive. FYI . . . you can find them online at Ebay at much better price!!

You can get bully sticks - free range from Costco 12 - 12" sticks for about $17.00 much better than most anywhere else!  Also there are several suppliers on Ebay that have great quality bully sticks for about $1.25 per 12" stick.

My dogs love them too and even though they go through them quickly, they are like my pacifier when I let the dogs in the house from being in the kennel while I am at work all day, they are CRAZY dogs until they get their bully sticks and they run to their beds and eat them like good little dogs!

I also feed raw beef back rib bones, and take them away as they start to get most of the meat off, they are only $.99 a pound so for $6.00 I can get about 12 bones, much less expensive but much more messy than bully sticks!

Correction: The bully sticks my dog loves are closer to 36".  I must have had the Dr. Phil thread on my mind when I was thinking 12 -14 " .

LMAO or the "breeding" thread.  MMMM

That's OK, my first comment about the sticks lasting your dogs all night really didn't sound good, so I went back and had to rephrase.

beetree: And my experience with sheep is reserved solely for an observation of the Dorset breed, when I took an animal husbandry 101 course, in which they demonstrated the use of a cattle prod to excite the ram for performance enhancement.

jodagirl: I wonder if that would work on humans???  LMAO.

Laughing your what off?

BTW, these handy prods are marketed as the ElectroJac 5 brand: http://www.allivet.com/ElectroJac-5-p/27154.htm
