concrete floors yes, but don't paint them. use an epoxy floor. they sell it as a do it yourself product now. lowes or home depot should have it. goes on like paint you can make it smooth or slip resistent. it's better for hosing down than paint as it doesn't ware away as easy as the paint will. i'd also go up the walls with it a couple of feet so you get no staining on the walls from you washing done the runs.

Include a couple of ceiling fans and how cold or hot your climate is....make sure you have a place for some type of heater.....birthing quarters cant be in the kennel area has to be isolated with seperate room.....away from the rest of dogs...

uSE THE APOXY FLOOR AND MAKE IT SLIP RESISTANT.......SEALS ALSO......YOU CAN DO THAT LAST YOURSELF....WALLS BETWEEN KENNELS IS THE WAY TO GO MY KENNELS ARE WIRE BETWEEN AND HAVE SPENT MEGA DOLLARS AND TIME FIXING IT,,,DOGS TEAR IT UP ......MY SON WANT TO REDO MINE WITH CINDER BLOCKS ABOUT 4 FOOT UP AND FINISH WITH THE WIRE......WISH I HAD DONE IT TO BEGIN WITH.....THAT WAY THEY ARE NOT NOSE TO NOSE WITH ANYONE ,,,,MALE OR FEMALE.........AND MY MALES WILL SEE THE OTHER ONE WAY DOWN ON THE OTHER END AND START THE RUMKUS GOING.....OUT OF SITE...NOT NEAR AS BAD...THEY JUST GROWL WHEN THEY HEAR THEM WHICH IS NOT HALF AS BAD.......OUT OF SITE OUT OF MIND??????LOL NOT REALLY DOGS USE SIGHT , HEARING , SMELL AND TOUCH.....THEY COULD BE BLIND AND STILL KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON......AND WHO AND WHAT IS 100 FEET AWAY

How much is epoxy paint going for these days? I need to cover 11 sq. ft. We screwed up the surface of the concrete slab pretty bad in the cold weather two weeks ago. Hello power sander before I can use it for dogs... An on-demand wall-mounted hot water heater is high on my list for the kitchen/whelping/grooming area... someday... Not cheap, but great to have. SS
