I have no problem using IE7 as a browser.

I haven't been able to use Netscape since the format change so had to switch to IE. For those who are having problems, try using the latest version of Internet Explorer. The only issue I have now is a message that keeps popping up up saying this site wants to download some kind of media player. (I already have the Windows Media Player.) I blocked the pop ups and still keep getting the message whick I'm guessing is coming from one of the advertisers here.

Hi, the other day when I tried to post link to Bierstadter Hof site, I was at work. The connection was very slow that day and the post came empty three times. When I got home it worked. At work I use explorer, at home mozilla. I don't think it is the browser, it has to do something with the speed of the connection, or maybe the upload time is limited to short. Another (but very small) posssibility is that somehow we change font color to white, but I doubt it.

Now I am getting an error message when I first go to any thread, I have to click several times to make it go away, but then I seem to be able to post; yesterday I couldn't post at all! And, yes, the site has been very sluggish lately. jh

ok here is one, I cannot post from the desktop pc which is connected to the net thru wireless borrowed from the next door neighbor, with his permission. The signal comes thru the laptop, to the netgear wireless router then to the desktop. I can post fine directly from the laptop. But if I switch it and get the signal directly to the desktop, I cannot post either. Both the desktop and the laptop are using the same version of Windows and Firefox, I dont know what else would make the difference, And it has been running slow but I attributed that to the way I am connecting.
I sent this message via pm to myself from my desktop so that I could post it from the laptop. It is exactly what I tried to post from the desktop lol it sent t to me twice.
Maybe if Oli has enough clues he can pinpoint the issue :)
