Yes, I meant primitive as the highest of compliments. I just love the "wild and untamed" look of the working lines. Showlines look more domesticated to me LOL. Glad to hear his skin is healing

Very nice pics! Baden reminds me a lot of my male rescue's build. His colour's not far off, either. Always suspected Ranger was likely German working lines....

I'll never know Ranger's...the a**hole who had him (and was planning to shoot him!) won't tell me anything, though he and the breeder were best friends. Unfortunately, the breeder is now dead, so I can't ask him, either.
