Hi all, HAPPY THANKSGIVING 

Our place is still standing today. I didn't burn it down cooking all day yesterday, a blessing indeed. We smoked a wild turkey this year, small but delicious, first time I'd ever tasted wild turkey. Between cooking dishes for the dineer, I also made up a week's worth of raw diet recipe food for Jed, a big mess in itself. Note to self: Do NOT try to put 8 cups of smelly ingredients into a 6 cup food processor. It doesn't work out well. Between checking status of things on stove/in oven, I shoveled about a yard of gravel the dogs kicked out of the runs back where it belonged. Paying for that this morning...

 I LOVE to cook, especially TG. Last year Jackie and Carl came over so it was fun, but this year it was just George and I. (and the dogs, but they aren't much help) I've decided I have better things to do than cook all day for 8 min. of eating too much dinner, and another hour cleaning up and storing more than we can eat in a week in plastic containers to go bad in the fridge. This is absolutely the LAST time I spend $100. and  7 hrs. buying and cooking a huge feast for only only two people. I told my husband last night: He'd better find some fiiends to invite over next year or its Swanson's Frozen Turkey dinners!
