Palestar, thank you for the tip, I will speak with my vet about that idea.  She took several and they are digital.  Appreciate the comment.

clewsk9,

am i halucinating? that x-ray is marked R on the right side as i look at it, all of them i've seen have been marked L on that side to mark that's the dogs left hip. unless this is an xray from the top? if i'm wrong sorry.

sincerely  kenny

LOL, no you're not, I hadn't noticed that before - maybe that's why she was sending the 2nd xray in - tagging error??  Just automatically assume I'm looking at it right.

You are welcome.  Mine were digiatl too and I LOVED it! I played around with those suckers for days in amazement that such a thing existed......geez I must be getting old if that's the most exciting thing happening....

Aren't we all, LOL!  Guarantee my hips wouldn't look that good on an xray..!

Isn't the date of birth and date of x-ray need to be on the x-ray itself ? I don't see the dates on the x-ray tag.

Yes, they should be but I think she copied these for me before the tech was finished entering the data.  Good catch, I will definately call in the morning to follow up on it.  Thanks for the keen eye Al Garza.

Anyone else want to add their guess as to the possible OFA results?  I would love to hear from as many as possible - I know that there are lots more people on here with opinions!!

Good to excellent.

OFA does not require the DOB to be emulisified on the xray - the minimum they ask for is the xraying vet's identification, the dog's registered name and number and the date of the xray. The film can be marked either right or left, OFA doesn't care.

clewsk9s,

I say Good (but, I'm still learning).
