I absolutley love true amber color eyes, my sable female has them, picture is not perfect but when you look into her eyes they have dept, it's like a 3 -d ..darker colors further in...(she is 9.5 years old)

my males eyes look freaky..in sunlight they almost look bloody red...

I like dark almond shaped eyes that blend into the dogs coloring.....

looking into the sun, these look a bit lighter then usual.

The darker the eye the better, but not black, that IS creepy.....

I love Theo's eyes, they have a warmth to them, and match the coat colors really well!

I also like an eye that will compliment the dogs coat color, and sort of blend with the dog...
like dana, she has pretty eyes, they are a bit light but don't jump out at you...

Then there's OehtMan's eyes,
he's rather rambunctious, and a brat, but really cute! (1 yr old) Sometimes I find eyes get darker as the dog ages!

My boy's eyes when he was a baby were very dark. I didn't mind it though. I actually liked it. They have lightened up a bit now that he is older.

Here is at 9 weeks.
